Swansea striker Bafe Gomis has officially signed with French club Marseille on a season-long loan.

The Premier League club confirmed the news that the 30-year-old player has departed from Liberty Stadium.

Gomis joined the Swans in 2014 on a four-year deal after his contract expired with Ligue 1 club Lyon. Since his arrival to the English side, he has made 71 appearances, scoring 17 goals in the process.Bafe-Gomis

The France international has netted three times in 12 matches for his national team; however, he was not called up to feature in Euro 2016.

Bafe Gomis is Marseille's seventh summer signing following the acquisition of goalkeeper Brice Samba, full-backs Henri Bedimo, Tomáš Hubočan and Hiroki Sakai, midfielder Saîf-Eddine Khaoui, and forwards Leya Iseka and Bill Tuiloma.
