Premier League side Arsenal could land the signature of one of the hottest talents in the world of football today.

Jamie Vardy could be an Arsenal player in the ‘next two days’ according to a report published by Goal. This comes barely a day after Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri had confirmed that the North Londoners were indeed interested in signing the 29-year-old, who was named the Football Writers Player of the Year after steering the Foxes to their first-ever Premier League title.

The report also claims that Jamie Vardy’s England teammate Jack Wilshere played a huge role in convincing him to cross from the King Power Stadium to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have reportedly reached the 20 million pound asking price for the lethal forward, who scored 24 goals in 36 league appearances for the defending champions, one behind top scorer Harry Kane.

If the deal goes through, he would become Arsenal’s second signing after Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
