Sweden will take on Slovenia at Swedbank Stadion in the first of two warm-up friendlies on Monday, May 30th. Here are some live TV listings & online streaming options for Sweden vs. Slovenia.

Although they have consistently qualified for every Euro championship since 2000, Sweden have not had much luck at the quadrennial tournament. In the 1992 edition, which they hosted, the Blågult made it to the semi-finals. This, to date, has been their best ever finish and having failed at the group stages at the past two tournaments, the Scandinavian side will be hoping to overcome this hurdle in France this summer.

Sweden

For Erik Hamrén's side, there will be one player all eyes will be focused on at this summer's tournament: Zlatan Ibrahimović. The 34-year-old will be coming into Euro 2016 having had one of his most prolific seasons at club level and as the team's skipper, will be expected to lead by example next month in France. Sweden will be facing a tough task to clear the group stages, especially considering that they have sides like Italy and Belgium for company in their quartet.

As such, Hamrén will be trying to figure out who else will be joining Ibrahimović in his preferred starting XI - and what better way to tinker with the squad and try out new formations than to feature in a friendly or two? Like all of the teams taking part at Euro 2016, the Blågult will be doing their trial run in a couple of matches, and the first of them will be against Slovenia on Monday before mixing it up with Wales next week.

To date, Sweden have only faced off against Slovenia once. Curiously enough, this was also in a friendly and nearly exactly eight years ago: on May 26, 2008, the Blågult edged them out 1-0.

Slovenia

Meanwhile, Sweden's upcoming opponents Slovenia experienced heartbreak during their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. After finishing in third behind England and Switzerland, Srečko Katanec's men next had to take on Ukraine in a two-legged play-off. Unfortunately, things did not work out in their favor and as a result, Slovenia were unable to seal their spot in their first Euro tournament since qualifying for the 2000 edition.

One player who will not likely feature could be young goalkeeper Jan Oblak. At just 23, the Atletico Madrid shotstopper clinched the coveted Ricardo Zamora Trophy and conceded just 18 goals in 38 La Liga games - which equalled a 22-year record. However, he was unable to prevent Los Rojiblancos from crashing out during Saturday's penalty shootout to decide the 2016 Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Given his involvement in the tense final, his manager is really more likely than not to call on someone else to feature between the posts, especially considering that this is a friendly match.
