The Dutch national team boss praised the young Spurs midfielder ahead of their clash with the Three Lions at Wembley.

The English national team have been blessed with some of the world’s finest midfielders, with the likes of Frank Lampard, Paul Scholes, David Beckham, and Steven Gerrard gracing the Three Lions, though proving insufficient in earning them silverware.

However, the 1966 have undoubtedly found a gem in the form of young Spurs ace Dele Alli, with his wonderful displays this season for the north London giants earning him a spot in Roy Hodgson's starting eleven.

Alli now appears destined to make the cut for the upcoming Euro 2016 squad, having impressed in his first two starts for the Three Lions in the 2-0 and 3-2 friendly wins over France and Germany, respectively.

And with Roy Hodgson’s boys set to host Netherlands at the famous Wembley ground in the final friendly of this international break, manager Danny Blind was full of praise for the 19-year-old, labeling him a “very special player”.

“He’s a good player, technical. He has a good shot he is also aggressive. He wins on the pitch a lot of tackles.”
