Despite Wayne Rooney’s late winner against Sheffield United in their FA Cup fixture at Old Trafford, Man United fans were not pleased by the ‘’boring’’ display. The Red Devils failed to penetrate the Blade’s defense line in over 60 minutes, something that did not go well with their fans.
A majority of Man Utd fans had hoped to see a more rejuvenated approach to this game, especially after kick-starting the year with a morale-boosting win over Swansea City last weekend. But on the contrary, the hosts played a dull game at their own backyard and created little chances, if any.
United face Newcastle and Liverpool in their next two Premier League fixtures, something that keeps many fans of the Red Devils worried, if their performance today is anything to go by.
Here are some of the best tweets from fans demanding LVG’s sacking:

Nothing other than an exciting attacking 3-0 win ( minimum ) would have been good enough tonight. A lucky 1-0 is a sackable offence #LVGOUT
