According to reports from England, Chelsea’s out-of-form striker could be on his way to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Galatasaray is home to former Premier League bigwigs such as Robin Van Persie and Luis Nani. The Spain international has been a pale shadow of his previous self this season and to make things worse, he seems to have a bad relationship with club manager Jose Mourinho.

The pair once had a bitter argument in Israel during the Champions League fixture against Maccabi Tel Aviv back in November and most recently last weekend when he threw his bib during a Premier League match at the White Hart Lane against Spurs. According to The Express, Galatasaray have approached the controversial player over a loan move to the Turkish giants.

The 27-year-old was instrumental for the English giants when they won the Premier League last season, but has since failed to recover his goal-scoring boots this season. Chelsea are in the hunt for a prolific striker in the January transfer window, and several reports have linked them to the likes of Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller, Southampton’s Saido Mane and the PSG duo of Edinson Cavan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

This season alone, he has scored three goals for Chelsea after 12 appearances for the club.
