The Gabonese striker has been linked with a move away from the yellow-and-black, with potential bids coming from Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona.

Those teams interested in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not have the player handed to them on a platter. Sources indicate that Borussia Dortmund will not part ways with the Gabonese striker unless the team that wishes to sign him puts €60M on the table.

Sources indicate that Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool's new manager and the one who decided to sign Aubameyang for the Yellow-and-black side, was interested in adding the Gabonese player to help the Reds' chances this season. With that in mind, Borussia Dortmund elevated the player's buyout clause to prevent one of the team's most talented players to walk away.

The 26-year-old striker has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Other teams that are allegedly interested in signing Aubameyang are Arsenal and Barcelona, but the Gunners seem to be in a better position to lure the player away from the Bundesliga. Sources indicate that Aubameyang wants to remain a first-choice striker, and his desire would be difficult to fulfill by Los Blaugranas, who have Luis Suárez, Neymar and Lionel Messi as their main options.

Furthermore, Barcelona's financial situation for this winter transfer window is not what it used to be, making it more difficult for them to pay what Dortmund is asking to let the player go.

The Gabonese striker's contract with Dortmund ends until the 2019-2020 season.
