Arsenal Wenger’s men will be looking to redeem themselves after their humiliating 5-1 defeat away to Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League fixture.

The much-anticipated North London derby between the Gunners and Spurs is the highlight of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures. The two sides have had an equal share of iconic players who have dominated the high-profile derby. Arsenal boasts of the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Robert Pires and the legendary Thierry Henry. On the other hand, Tottenham had the likes of Robbie Keane, Paul Gascoigne and Bobby Smith, who netted a total of nine goals in this fixture.

The Champions League results aside, Arsenal have a five-match winning streak back at home and will be hopping to cruise past Spurs with ease. The other side of the field presents a Tottenham team that has finally found its scoring boots through the likes of Harry Kane. Mauricio Pochettino’s men started the season on a low note after losing 1-0 to Manchester United on the opening day. However, apart from the loss to the Red Devils, the Lilywhites are yet to lose any other game in the Premier League.

Second-placed Arsenal will want to beat Spurs to rise to the top of the table with a higher goal difference if Man City wins their weekend match against Aston Villa. Spurs need to win to rise to the third position if Manchester United and Leicester City fail to pick maximum points in their weekend fixtures.

Harry Kane, after discovering his goal-scoring boots, has so far managed to score five goals for the North Londoners, including four in their last two games. The England international also scored in the 4-1 victory over Manchester City back in September.
