From winning the English Premier League last season to hovering about the relegation zone this campaign, the crisis that faces Chelsea is alarming.
Turmoil at the club ignited at the beginning of the 2015-16 season and has failed to cease, with Jose Mourinho landing in hot water several times for uncensored comments on referees, Arsene Wenger, and the FA, not to mention his controversial row with Eva Carneiro.
With 6 defeats in their first 11 games, the Blues sit in 15th spot, merely four points adrift of the drop zone. As a result, the pressure is piling on the Special One, with reports claiming that the Portuguese tactician is close to the breaking point.

Saturday’s 3-1 loss at home to Liverpool was the club’s latest setback. The weekend result cast the 52-year-old’s position at the club into further threat, with his sacking merely a matter of time now.
Many believed that the Special One would have been axed after the defeat to Liverpool, but he was sparred, though not for long, according to the reports.
Dan Levene of Euro Sport writes, in the aftermath of the Stamford Bridge defeat, that Chelsea will wait until Saturday’s trip to Stoke City to part ways with Mourinho, having opted against sacking the former Real Madrid boss over the weekend.
So deep has the crisis at Chelsea engulfed the London giants, the players have even turned on the manager, with reports that one player would rather lose than win for Mourinho.

In addition, several key players have been underperforming this season, with Eden Hazard leading the pack.
Hazard's disappointing season was capped off with an awful display vs Liverpool
Last season’s PFA Player of the Year has even been publicly called out by his manager for his poor performance, and his believed to have grown tired of Jose’s antics.
His rumored falling out with Mourinho may now even result in a Stamford Bridge exit, with the Daily Mail claiming that should the Special One remain at the helm of the club, Hazard will seek a Real Madrid switch as early as this summer.
TOO MUCH PRESSURE: Could Mourinho's CR7 comparison be the root cause of Hazard's awful season?

Could the cure to all these issues be firing Mourinho?
