The Argentinean came down with a knee injury during Barcelona's sixth La Liga match this season, and is expected to miss the next six weeks at best.

Argentine ace Lionel Messi is trying to get back as soon as possible. In order to do that, Barcelona's superstar is working out with a military device, that Messi believes can help him shave off a week or two from his initial treatment.

Barcelona's medical staff stated that Messi will be out for the next six to seven weeks, following his left knee injury against Las Palmas. This is the first time in over three years that will have Messi unavailable for a long period.

The player thanked his Facebook fans with a post, where he showed the device. Furthermore, Barcelona's all-time goal scorer sent a heartfelt message to his Argentina team-mates, who will start playing the World Cup Qualifiers tonight.

Paso a paso, sigo recuperándome bien para volver más fuerte. Quiero aprovechar para mandar un abrazo grande y mucho...
