The blockbuster game of the week will see Arsenal host Liverpool in the Premier League. This is a match which has always provided a lot of entertainment and it will not come as a surprise if it turns out to be a goal frenzy.

The same fixture last season resulted in Arsenal thoroughly dominating their opponents winning the match by a 4-1 score line. Mesut Ozil who put forth a star showing then reflected on the match and also revealed that the Gunners had a plan in mind to get the better of their opponents on Monday.

"We are at home and we know exactly how we can beat Liverpool," the German told Arsenal's official website. "That is what we want to do on Monday.

"I remember that we delivered a really convincing display [in April's win]. In the first half we decided the game because we had a high level of concentration and wanted to utilise our potential. We want to do that again this time.

"We were highly concentrated. The manager gave us tasks on the pitch and we executed them perfectly. That's what we will have to do on Monday again.

"We have to believe in ourselves as we have the potential to beat every team and we will show that on Monday."

Whereas it was the Gunners who got the upper hand last time out, Liverpool humiliated Arsene's men when the two sides met back in February 2014. Four goals in a space of just 20 minutes rocked the Arsenal faithful who watched in disbelief as their team suffered a crushing 5-1 defeat.

Speaking of a goal frenzy, it will be difficult not to mention the 4-4 draw between the two sides as Andrei Arshavin struck four times to make sure both the teams ended the match with a point each.

Considering the outcomes of previous matches, it will not come as a surprise if Monday's encounter is full of goals.
