The Orlando City player was called up to add his experience to a struggling Brazilian side, which failed to reach the Copa América semi-finals for the second tournament in a row.

After being included in the 30-man squad that intended to win the recent Copa América, Kaká will return with A Canarinha to play two friendly matches in September. Orlando City's superstar will try to be available to play against Costa Rica and the United States.

Coach Dunga left out some of the team's household names such as Marcelo, Robinho and Philippe Coutinho, while he justified Kaka's presence in the upcoming matches.

"Kaka will be a reference, just as Robinho was before. Kaka can give the team experience and maturity during difficult times and he will work hard both and off the field,” the coach revealed.

"Coutinho had his chance at Copa América. You can't build a team full of youngsters, you need to add experience to the mix, and we hope Kaká can provide us what we are expecting," Dunga added.

The 33-year old player has performed with A Selecao in 89 games, scoring 29 goals in the process. He was part of the 2002 World Champion squad, adding to his resume two FIFA Confederations Cup titles in 2005 and 2009.

Dunga included only six players currently performing in Brazil, starting with the team's goalkeepers. Defensive back Douglas Santos and midfielders Elias & Lucas Lima are the only footballers playing the Brasileirao included on the 24-man list.

Here's Dunga's complete call up for the upcoming international matches.
