The English midfielder, who was supposed to make his debut with the team this Sunday, had quite a gesture with some fans who couldn't find tickets to get into the game.

Frank Lampard knows how to become one of the most beloved players in every team he plays for, even before making his debut. With his first game with New York City Football Club delayed due to an unconvenient calf strain, Lampard finished off his training session prior to the match, when a number of fans reached out and asked him for tickets.

First, Lampard told the group (all twenty of them) that he had access only to four complimentary tickets, and he was willing to give those away. But when most of them were leaving, he chose to buy tickets for all, proving that he is one of the most respected footballers in the business for the way he treats fans.

After he bought them their passes, fans went ahead and published on their social media accounts what Lampard had done.

Here's another testimony of Lampard's deed.

While his comeback date will be determined shortly, Lampard has already been selected to play in the MLS All Star game, along with Steven Gerrard and David Villa.
