The French champions would be closer to sign the midfielder than other clubs, given the good working relationship between the club and the player's agent, Mino Raiola.

After recent reports suggesting that midfielder Paul Pogba would be signing a contract with Spanish teams such as Real Madrid, a new report surfaced indicating the French player will be departing from Juventus, but his destination will be none other than his home country, where he will be playing for PSG.

According to sources close to the negotiation, Les Parisiens have contacted the player's agent, Mino Raiola, and established a whopping €90 million bid for the French midfielder. The French champions have done deals with Raiola before, since the agent also handles Zlatan Ibrahimovic's career. Furthermore, the French capital team would be willing to offer Pogba a €12 million-per-year salary, which is one of the reasons why other top clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona are having second thoughts about signing the player.

To see this deal go through, PSG must negotiate with two parties. The first one being the UEFA Financial Fair Play board, since Les Parisiens were handed a transfer ban last year, and their €40 million budget would not be enough to sign Pogba. If UEFA officers chose to allow them to carry on, the next order of business would be convincing Juventus to sell the player, something that Giuseppe Marotta, Juve's director, does not seem willing to do.

"We have received a number of transfer bids for Pogba, but we haven't looked into any of them. Paul is a key player in Juventus' project. Pogba is not to be transferred, unless he comes and tells us he wants to leave, and that's something that hasn't happened yet," Marotta concluded.

Pogba has been linked to almost every top club in European football since January 2015. With Juventus asking for a big pile of cash for the player, it seems that only a few clubs could make his signing possible.
