The Football Association used a weather balloon to give out the last two tickets to the game. It was the fan's grandmother who found them in the village.

19-year-old George Lamb had lost any hope of going to watch Arsenal face Aston Villa in the FA Cup final until something out of the ordinary happened. His grandmother had picked up the last two remaining tickets that the FA gave away using a weather balloon. Now Lamb has two VIP passes for Saturday's game.

The FA decided to launch the weather balloon from the pitch where the game will be played, Wembley Stadium. The tickets were attached to a parachute that would deploy once the balloon bursted. When it reached 18 miles high, the balloon disappeared and the tickets came flying down slowly.

The stunt was done with the approval from the Civil Aviation Authority. The balloon was monitored by GPS to tell fans where the balloon was located up until it busted. They landed in the Broad Oak, Sussex area and Lamb's grandmother was the first one to claim them.

"When I woke up this morning the idea of going to the FA Cup final hadn't crossed my mind," Lamb said.

The F.A. saw this technique to cap off what they catalogue as a memorable season. They were looking to do something out of this world and they most likely achieved it. Spokeswoman Lucy Roberts-Hartley claimed they needed to do one last special thing themselves before the big game.

"Sending the final pair of tickets into space is a great way to finish the off-pitch adventure, we hope George enjoys an out-of-this-world match on Saturday."

Now, the lucky fan will most likely take his grandma to the game. He is not only excited for the opportunity but also because it will be his first time inside the historical venue.

"This will be my first time to Wembley and I've got butterflies at the prospect of it," George ended.
