Cech has been benched by Courtois for most of the season. He helped Chelsea win Champions League and Premier League titles.

This summer seems to be the time in which many icons are leaving their teams. Steven Gerrard moving away from Liverpool, Xavi from Barcelona and now Petr Cech is looking to exit Chelsea. He has been with the team since 2004, but spent most of last season on the bench seeing how Thibaut Courtois replaced him.

Now, Petr Cech has agreed with Chelsea that if there is a solid interest from any club he wants, he will be free to decide about his future. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has expressed his interest in joining Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain, while other news outlets link him with Real Madrid.

His agent has made this rumour official

The player from Plzen, Czech Republic is aware that it will be hard to regain the starting spot next season. Even with one more year left in his contract, now seems the time to say goodbye to a club where he won one Champions League trophy along with three Premier League titles.

"Petr expects that Roman Abramovich, not Jose Mourinho, will decide about his future, based on their mutual agreement from last year," his agent Viktor Kolar said

Cech played in six games this season and finished with four clean sheets. He also only had to make nine saves in all of those games. Chances are he could be the starter when the Blues face Sunderland this weekend in what could be his final game at Stamford Bridge.
