Sunday’s highly-anticipated clash between Manchester United and Arsenal, once a game that saw where the English Premier League title would be heading, ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw.
However, the Gunners can count themselves lucky to have left Old Trafford with a draw, and the Red Devils upset with the score line, as it was the 20-time league champions who dominated play for most of the 90 minutes.
Ander Herrera opened the scoring in the Old Trafford tie, finding the back of the net in the 30th minute after connecting with a delicious cross from Ashley Young, who earned plaudits for his performance.
Arsenal can't handle Ashley Young. Another assist for the re-born winger...

And more good work from Ashley Young to provide the cross for Herrera's goal - been revitalised under Louis van Gaal this season.

Wenger’s crew were unable to muster any real goalscoring chance, but had to really on an 82nd-minute Tyler Blackett own goal to hand the FA Cup holders a lifeline.
Alexis Sanchez, who was expected to wow the crowds, failed to impress, as fans vented their frustrations in the Chilean ace and the rest of the Arsenal squad.
ALEXIS 'WHATEVER YOUR MIDDLE NAME IS' SANCHEZ PASS THE GODDAMN BALL

Alexis Sánchez has been totally unable to hold onto the ball in these opening minutes. Lost it 6 or 7 times already. Needs to focus.

Even Giroud was not spared of the criticism
Giroud can't run in behind, he can't run into through balls, he can't manoeuvre out of a tight space. That doesn't help our game sadly.

Remember when Henry was crucified for claiming Giroud wasn't good enough? Well guess what? Henry was spot on!
— Home of Fußball (@ExcitableExpert) May 17, 2015
Giroud really took Henry's comments to heart and it's now affected his play, hasn't he?

Not every Arsenal player had a bad game, though

Despite the spoils, the game did produce one hilarious moment. Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, linked with a move to Los Blancos, picked up an injury and made way for Victor Valdes in the 74th minute.
This led to hilarious trolls on Twitter that the 24-year-old custodian left the pitch in order to catch a plane to Madrid, with the summer transfer window growing ever closer.
