The odds don’t favor one of these three English Premier League side ahead of Monday’s draw.

With the Champions League draw for the round of 16 set to take place on Monday in the city of Nyon, fans of the surviving English Premier League sides await to see who they will face.

After Liverpool crashed out in the group stage, only Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal remain in European football’s most coveted tournament. The Blues finished top of Group G, and are seeded for the Champions League draw, whilst the Citizens and the Gunners are unseeded due to their second place finish in their respective groups.

Ahead of the draw, the numbers were crunched, and the teams these three English clubs will most likely face were revealed. Wondering who they are? Check out the odds.

Chelsea

Although a seeded team can feel the most relaxed for this Champions League draw, Jose Mourinho’s men should not! Despite being most likely to draw Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, at 28.72%, Chelsea is 20.40% likely to face Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the next round.

Manchester City

After waiting until the last day to secure progression to the round of 16, Manuel Pellegrini’s crew is most likely to face Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund at 24.048%. Regardless of Jurgen Klopp’s side’s terrible form this season, they have beaten the Citizens before, clinching a 1-0 victory over Manchester City back in 2012.

Arsenal

Arsenal fans are probably the ones most eagerly awaiting Monday’s draw. With their terrible luck over the seasons, being paired against German giants Bayern Munich in the last two consecutive seasons in this exact same stage of the tournament, the Gunners will be keen on avoiding another nightmare round of 16 fixture.

However, numbers don’t lie, and Arsene Wenger’s men are set for bad luck. According to the odds, the FA Cup holders are most likely to draw Bayern Munich for a third consecutive time at 24.048%.
