Manchester City's worst nightmare may be just around the corner. When Sergio Aguero was showing the best performances of his career, a knee injury might sideline him from the most important match for them this season.

Agüero came down after a being tackled by Phil Jagielka just after two minutes of playing time. "El Kun" tried to continue on the pitch, but he seemed to be in a lot of pain. Finally, the Argentinian left the pitch in tears, limping while he walked to the sideline.

Aguero's influence in Manchester City's season has been pretty clear. The Citizens' Number 16 currently leads all goalscorers with 14 goals, and has been key to the Sky Blues' season so far, participating in 55% of the team's scoring plays.

After Aguero left the pitch, Yaya Touré scored a penalty kick for Manuel Pellegrini's team, giving them the lead against Everton.
