James Rodriguez's 75th minute wonder strike gave Los Cafeteros a 1-0 win, but El Tigre must not be happy after being robbed the chance of making the score sheet

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao was in action on Tuesday as Colombia traveled to New Jersey to face Canada in a friendly at the Red Bull Arena.

The 28-year-old attacker, who scored his first ever goal in a Red Devils jersey in their 2-1 win over Everton, netted in Saturday's 3-0 win over El Salvador, Falcao's first start in over a year.

And the former Atletico Madrid star would have continued his goalscoring run had this goal not been wrongfully denied.

During the 17th minute of the first half, Falcao exquisitely finished an intricate link-up play to put the ball in the back of the net, believing he had given Jose Pekerman's side a 1-0 lead.

However, the goal was ruled out as the linesman deemed the build up to have been offside. Replay though shows the linesman got it all wrong and should have let the goal stood.

Colombia did however find the winning goal 15 minutes from time through this wonder goal as James Rodrgiuez released an unstoppable strike after taking a free-kick quickly, catching the Canadian players off guard.

Los Cafeteros players all headed to the touchline to embrace their Argentine coach, celebrating the goal with their 65-year-old boss, who, according to 101 Great Goals, saw his mother pass away a day before the match.
