The much anticipated UEFA Euro 2012 event which takes place in Poland and Ukraine between June 8th and July 1st, 2012 is only a few weeks away. Canadian soccer fans will have access to extensive coverage of the event in live English, French, Spanish and Italian language broadcasts. All games will be broadcast in French and English as well as 15 live matches in Spanish and Italian.
The Match kick-off times will be at 12:00 Noon and 2:45 PM (Eastern Standard Time). These kick-off times will give the working crowd a chance to slip away from the office for an extended lunch to watch the EURO 2012 live action.
All the matches will be available across Canada in English and French, Spanish and Italian language. The event is sure to draw a large muti-cultural viewing audience.
TSN will be showing all the live Euro 2012 matches in English-language on TSN and TSN 2. French-language live broadcasts of all matches will be made on RDS and RDS 2. TLN has sub-licensed the Spanish-language media rights for Canada from ESPN Inc. Mediaset Italia will be airing the live Euro 2012 matches in Italian-language.
Canada battles Mexico for a Ticket to London 2012 Olympic Games
TORONTO (March 29, 2012) – One win and Canada books a trip to London. Sportsnet’s coverage of the 2012 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament continues with the semifinal showdown between Canada and Mexico on Saturday, March 31 at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. PT live on Sportsnet East, West, Ontario and Pacific as the winner qualifies for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Coverage begins with a 30-minute SOCCER CENTRAL pre-show featuring Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest teeing up the do-or-die match from Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City, KS. Dobson and Forrest will call the Canada and Mexico match while Tony Ambrogio joins the duo in Kansas City as sideline reporter. Canada vs. Cuba with Berth to 2012 CONCACAF Semifinals on the Line
TORONTO, ON (March 25, 2012) – Canada’s Under-23 national team is inching closer to booking a ticket to London this summer. Sportsnet’s coverage of the 2012 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament continues on Monday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT live on Sportsnet Ontario, Pacific and Sportsnet ONE, as Canada faces Cuba in a must-see showdown to conclude the group stage.
With a win or draw on Monday night, Canada will advance to the tournament semifinals on Saturday, March 31 in Kansas City. The winners in the semifinals will automatically clinch a berth to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
2012 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament
With two tournament victories under their belt, Canada has already earned a berth in the semi-finals on Friday, Jan. 27 (match-ups TBD); with a win or draw tonight the Canadians will clinch first place in Group A. SOCCER CENTRAL’s Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest provide play by play and analysis, respectively, for all games in the tournament, including the semi-finals and final.

Klinsmann, as most fans know, was previously the coach of Bayern München. Klinsmann’s tenure lasted less than a season at the club with which he won the UEFA Cup as a player. The former striker was sacked after two embarrassing losses against VfL Wolfsburg and FC Barcelona. Juergen’s assistant in those days was Martin Vasquez. Thus, most journalists must have winced slightly when they heard whom Klinsmann was hiring as his assistant. What must be said is Bayern was in the top three in the Bundesliga when the German was sacked. Also, Vasquez is a good friend of Klinsmann’s.

Good news has been delivered to all USA fans as Landon Donovan is expected to start against Canada tomorrow. Donovan missed the friendly defeat to Spain over the weekend but the sight of him working out with his teammates at the Detroit Lions training complex on Sunday definitely comes as a positive sign.Prior to that, Donovan missed two days of training and now, the man himself has declared himself fit for tomorrow's opening clash against Canada.
"I was breathing pretty hard but I feel pretty good and would expect to be fine by Tuesday," Donovan told reporters after practice at Allen Park.

Argentina vs Canada – International Friendly Match Preview
