An extension to the Colombian striker's Old Trafford stay looks set to cost the Red Devils some staggering figures

Terms of the permanent Manchester United contract that Radamel Falcao is heavily tipped to sign when his season-long loan ends have been revealed.

Despite faiing to register a goal so far, the Colombian ace is reportedly ready to extend his stay at Old Trafford come the new season, and Louis van Gaal's side are eager to tie him down to the club.

As reported by the Daily Mail (per Bleacher Report), the 28-year-old striker has already agreed personal terms, and a transfer fee has already been reached for the Red Devils' number 9.

Initially costing them £6m, Manchester United will now cough up an estimated £43.5m to sign him from Ligue 1 side Monaco, with a £250,000-a-week salary in place for the former Atletico Madrid attacker.

Ian Ladyman writes: “Having paid a loan fee of £6million to the French club for the 28-year-old, United have also agreed to a transfer fee of £43.5m if they decide to take the striker permanently at the end of the season.

Now it has emerged that United chief executive Ed Woodward has already agreed a £250,000-a-week wage – as well as bonuses and image rights – with the player and his representatives ahead of next summer.”

The 20-time English Premier League champions are looking to quickly complete the paperworks in order to avoid a repeat of the Carlos Tevez incident.

The Argentine, who spent two seasons at the Theatre of Dreams on loan similar to that of Falcao, left the club for rivals Manchester City after failing to agree personal terms, despite the Red Devils being ready to meet his £25m buy-out clause.
