The Liga duo are reportedly keen on the Manchester United star, who is set to sit down with his coach to discuss his situation at the club.

According to reports, the arrival of Radamel Falcao could push one of Manchester United's attackers towards the exit door.

Approximately a fortnight ago, Robin Van Persie was linked with a surprise move to Spain, with 10-time Champions League winners Real Madrid allegedly considering making a £20 million move for the Dutch international in January.

And now new reports have emerged that the 31-year-old is unhappy with his situation at the Premier League giants, with his overall lack of playing time thus far being the main issue.

As per English publication the Daily Express, the former Arsenal man is set to sit down and have a serious talk with Louis Van Gaal, with whom he enjoys a good relationship due to the latter's time spent at the helm of the Oranje.

Barcelona as well as Real Madrid are the sides linked with him, but it will remain to be seen whether the Spanish duo opt to push for any kind of move, given his past injury history.
