Despite already bringing in Chicharito on loan, Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for another Red Devils attacker this winter.

This summer's transfer market might be well and over, but that hasn't prevented the rumor mill from starting up again regarding moves for some players mid-season.

And as per usual with any speculation, these rumors range from highly likely to bordeline absurd, but one knows that gossip sells, and the more outrageous, the better.

According to reports from Spain (as per English publication Daily Express), Real Madrid are preparing to make a £20 million bid to bring in Manchester United's Robin Van Persie during the Janauary transfer window.

The reason? Well, according to agent Francois Gallardo, the 31-year-old Dutch star could perhaps find his starting spot threatened by the arrival of Colombian international Radamel Falcao.

Seriously? FIFA agent Gallardo believes that Falcao's arrival could force RVP to make a move to Spain

This is regardless of the fact that the capital giants just brought in Van Persie's colleague Javier Hernandez to serve as a back-up striker on loan.

Or that as mentioned, the former Arsenal man is 31 years old and more important, not only has a good relationship with new coach Louis Van Gaal but also has publicly stated his excitment at working with his new teammates.

"I can't wait to go and train and play with the world class players we have signed," he recently stated in an interview.

"I find it very exciting, the arrival of all these new players, and for me personally, it's brilliant to go and play with some of the best players in the world."

Does that sound like someone who would really like to switch teams?
