On September 6, two of the most exciting countries during the past World Cup face each other in preparation for next year's Copa America

One of the most interesting matches involving Latin American countries will be, without a doubt, the one that makes Chile and Mexico clash on the pitch. Both sides had a good World Cup, being eliminated by Brazil and The Netherlands, respectively. Both teams arrive to this match with their best players, so a good game may be set for this Saturday at Levi's Stadium.

Chile will have star strikers Alexis Sanchez and Mauricio Pinilla leading the pack, since "King" Arturo Vidal came down with an injury to his knee. Vidal was the talk of the summer due to a possible transfer to Manchester United or Real Madrid, but he ended up staying at three-peating Italian champion Juventus. Coach Jorge Sampaoli wants more players for his team, since next year they will host Copa America, with the intention of winning the coveted CONMEBOL trophy for the first time.

Mexico seeks to find some stability after two years of uncertainty. Miguel Herrera has been confirmed as coach for the next four years, but that doesn't always pay off for coaches in that country. Over the two recent years, El Tri's had four coaches including Herrera. This match will be marked as the start of a "new" era, with "El Piojo" hoping he has what it takes to endure media pressure and fans ranting about his antics off the pitch. Herrera's crew consists of thirteen players that represented Mexico during the last World Cup, including goalkeeping sensation Guillermo Ochoa, Giovani Dos Santos and Hector Herrera, one of FC Porto's jewels.

Historically, this will be the 28th match between the two countries, including friendly matches. Mexico has a slight advantage with 14 wins, three draws and 10 defeats.
