After what has been one of this summer's longest transfer sagas, Manchester United fans finally have reason to celebrate.
After much wrangling, it appears that the Red Devils have finally secured the signature of Angel Di Maria Real Madrid star for a fee reportedly over £60 million.
Initially, the capital club had increased his price suddenly in a bid to make as much profit off the former Benfica man as possible, especially since spending quite a bit on bringing in new signings James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos. However, all reports now indicate that the two sides were able to reach an agreement to ensure the 26-year-old's transfer to England.
Finally here: Angel Di Maria arrives ahead of his medical and to finalize his transfer to Old Trafford
The Argentinian star, who won the Champions League this past May, has also now smashed the British transfer fee set by Chelsea's Fernando Torres when he arrived at Chelsea from Liverpool in a deal worth £50 million back in 2011.
Record breaker: Di Maria is now the most expensive Premier League signing in history
And, it appears that the fans can't wait to see the newest Manchester United player in action as this happened, believe it or not:
