Chelsea face Liverpool at home on Super Sunday and the Blues have not registered a win against the Reds in the last four league meetings. Meanwhile, Liverpool seek revenge for the FA cup final loss last season, where Chelsea was crowned champions.
Chelsea captain John Terry should start after completing his four-match ban, which leaves Gary Cahill on the bench despite scoring more goals than Torres. It is hard to say at this point who will warm the bench between David Luiz and Cahill.
Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard are still recuperating from injury. Juan Mata is back after missing the Swansea game last week. Ryan Bertrand should start on the left if Cole fails a late fitness test.
The absence of Lampard means that Oscar and Ramieres will get to keep their places in the starting XI.
Liverpool still miss Lucas Lieva in midfield and Fabio Borini in attack. Glen Johnson is doubtful to start the match, which means Wisdom might get another chance.
The two sides have a lot of history between them after some closely fought encounters in cup games and the league. In the last 32 meetings in various competitions, Chelsea have the edge over Liverpool by winning 13 to Liverpool's 12 games.
However, in recent times Liverpool have been a formidable opponent against Chelsea despite their poor form in the league. Last season Liverpool did a double over Chelsea in the league and knocked them out of the league cup.
The present Chelsea team is different from last season's and it revolves around MAZACAR (Mata/Hazard/Oscar). Chelsea have been a delight to watch this season and their attack is one of the best in England.
Torres has not scored against his old side since moving to London.
Liverpool are still discovering their style under Brendon Rodgers and they are being moulded into one of best passing sides in the league. Liverpool will use a 4-3-3 formation against Chelsea's 4-2-3-1 and Joe Allen and Nuri Sahin have a lot to do neutralising Chelsea's attack.
They will attack from the wings with Raheem Sterling doing most of the work on the left, and Suarez is in scorching form after scoring five in his last five league games.
• Torres is yet to score against Liverpool.
• Gary Cahill has more goals than Torres.
• If Liverpool win they will extend their run to five games unbeaten against Chelsea.
