Mohamed Salah’s scintillating form in February earned him another Player of the Month award. The Premier League announced him as the winner on Friday ahead of Liverpool’s exciting weekend clash with Man United.
The Egyptian ace admitted to it is nice to claim this prize once again, but insisted that the credit is not down to him alone. The former Roma winger made sure to acknowledge his team-mates, telling the Premier League’s official website: “The players make it easier and the boss also makes it easier for me.”

The 25-year-old beat out stiff competition to clinch this award. He won more votes than fellow nominees Sergio Aguero, Mousa Dembele, Pascal Gross, Eden Hazard, Glenn Murray and Xherdan Shaqiri.
It was the number of goals Salah contributed to in February that saw him finish ahead of the competition. During last month, he contributed to six goals, scoring four and assisting two.
Two of those strikes came in the thrilling 2-2 draw at Anfield with Tottenham, while he scored a goal each against Southampton and West Ham. What makes these numbers even more impressive is that the Reds played only three top-flight games last month.
Two of those fixtures ended in victories, with one ending in a tie. Salah netted in Liverpool’s first game in March, a 2-0 triumph over Newcastle, and will hope to maintain his goalscoring run when they travel to Old Trafford on Saturday.
