Chelsea come into this game on a strong winning streak at home, where they have won their last six fixtures. More important, they have lost just one of their last 11 meetings with Stoke at this ground, and while the reigning champs are a long ways off catching runaway leaders Manchester City, Antonio Conte's men at least will want to ensure they finish 2017 on a high note by making it a fifth straight game sans defeat.

David Luiz will miss this one with a reported long-term knee problem, while young defender Andreas Christensen is in doubt due to illness. Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma will not be allowed to feature for Stoke as he's on loan with the Potters from Chelsea. Other absentees for the visitors include Stephen Ireland and Bruno Martins Indi.

Stoke recently ended their three game losing streak by winning and drawing their last two fixtures and presently sit in 13th spot. Given that they have won just one of their last ten away games, however, coupled with their bad track record against Chelsea, the Potters are expected to struggle at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
