The Argentine superstar showed all of us that even if he's dazzled fans and experts with his performances, he is still human and he can miss chances. Today, the Blaugrana ace failed to score during the first game of the season, but what really stands out is that he was able to hit the woodwork three times.

This was the first time in his illustrious career in which Messi hit the posts three times, and curiously enough, he hit both posts and the crossbar while at it. He hit the left post of Adan's net after taking a free kick, and the other two posts in open plays during the second half.
