The Serbian midfielder will re-join with former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho after signing a three-year deal with the Red Devils

The quest to sign another midfielder has come to an end for Manchester United, as the Red Devils finally landed Nemanja Matic to boost the team's waist.

José Mourinho had previously worked with the Serbian footballer, wich was one of the key factors that helped this negotiation to materialize.

Here's how the Red Devils unveiled their new player on social media.

Speaking to the team's website, the player thanked his former team-mates and congratulated himself for having the chance to work once again with The Special One.

"I am delighted to have joined Manchester United. To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support. I cannot wait to meet my new team-mates and to start training with them," Matic stated.

The player joins Manchester United on a three-year deal after paying Chelsea around £40M for the player's services.
