The race to win the 2023-24 Bundesliga season is in full gear, and after 28 weeks of action, we are closing in on naming the winner of this competition.
For the first time in history, Bayer Leverkusen will take the title home and, if things go their way, this weekend could bring fans an unexpected joy with their crowning. This will not be something Bayern fans will appreciate, as the Bavarians will see their winning streak that lasted for eleven years coming to an end.
A win, or even a loss by Bayern, will do the trick for Xabi Alonso's crew, a team that has managed to stay unbeaten across all competitions up to this point in the season, which has reflected on their dominance in this league. Additionally, Stuttgart, RB Leipzig, and Borussia Dortmund will be involved in some enticing games this weekend, which could confirm -or end- their hopes to play European tournaments next season.
Additionally, the relegation battle is getting even better with each passing week. Four teams are still trying to avoid the drop and the promotion match, while Darmstadt's fate seems to have been sorted out weeks before.

For Köln, this game could be crucial for their hopes to avoid relegation, as one win here combined with a loss by Mainz would see them leapfrogging the latter and getting closer to Bochum.
