Some players would think higher of themselves if Pelé praised them with all the world to witness, but Kylian Mbappé has shown that he's a different kind of footballer.
Soon after the World Cup Final came to an end, "O Rei" took it to Twitter to heap praise on Kylian Mbappé with a couple of tweets. One of those messages even hinted that he saw his throne being threatened by the rising French star, and that he may need to step out of retirement to re-claim his spot as the ultimate football legend.
If Kylian keeps equalling my records like this I may have to dust my boots off again... // Se o @KMbappe continuar a igualar os meus records assim, eu vou ter que tirar a poeira das minhas chuteiras novamente...#WorldCupFinal https://t.co/GYWfMxPn7p

But Kylian Mbappé didn't want to leave it be, and he took it to social media to pay his respects to the Brazilian striker, who won three World Cup titles between 1958 and 1970.
The king will always remain king

So, there you have it. A football legend and a rising star sharing respect for one another. Maybe there's more to learn from this than you expected!
