A top three clash is on the cards as PSG take on Monaco at the Parc des Princes on Friday, November 24th.

After yet another interruption due to another international break, Ligue 1 fans can celebrate once again as club football returns with a bang on Friday. League leaders PSG will kick off proceedings with a home clash against third-placed Monaco as the capital-based club aim to further consolidate their grip on top spot.

Les Parisiens have won all of their last five Ligue 1 matches, including a resounding 3-0 win over Reims to ensure that Luis Enrique's side remain on top of the table. It was also the perfect response following their shock 2-1 loss to AC Milan in their Champions League tie, but at home, PSG have been quite solid. In fact, coming into this tie, the ambitious club have won their last five home matches across all comps without conceding a single goal.

The 3-0 win over Reims was the Kylian Mbappe show, as the French star netted all three goals to bring him to eight hat-tricks in Ligue 1 - breaking the seven previously set by retired Swedish ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It's safe to say that he will be eager to add more to his tally, which currently stands as 13 goals and puts him well ahead of the chasing pack in the race to be Ligue 1's top goal-scorer.

Meanwhile, Monaco have won three of their last five Ligue 1 matches, but Adi Hutter's side faced a much tougher battle than expected against newly promoted Le Havre. Les Rouges et Blancs were quite poor in the match, and in fact, were quite fortunate that shot-stopper Philipp Kohn was able to save a penalty kick that surely would have resulted in an embarrassing 1-0 defeat for Monaco.

Monaco have had some luck when it comes to playing PSG, and in fact, come into their upcoming match unbeaten in their last three meetings with Les Parisiens. However, given how they did struggle against Le Havre, combined with PSG's mostly dominant showings in Ligue 1, it is hard to see the visitors being able to maintain that steak when the two familiar foes renew acquaintances in Paris on Friday evening.
