1998 World Cup champions, France, who are grouped with Honduras, Ecuador, and Switzerland, have released the names of the 23 players that will be playing in Brazil, come June.
The elite squad consists of Bundesliga champions, Ligue 1 winners, Serie A conquerers, and Champions League finalists, as the likes of Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery (forced out through injury on June 6), Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi and Yohan Cabaye, Juventus' Paul Pogba, and Real Madrid's Karim Benzema make the list.
However, two 2013-2014 English Premier League medal holders failed to make the list as Manchester City star Samir Nasri didn't receive a booked ticket to Brazil.
He was joined by fellow Citizens teammate Gael Clichy, veteran Monaco defender Eric Abidal, and Newcastle ace Hatem Ben Arfa on the list of notable exclusions.

Will France regret ditching Nasri and Clichy?
Arsenal defensive pair Laurent Koscielny and Bacary Sagna, alongside attacker Olivier Giroud, book their tickets, as they are joined by Red Devils' Patrice Evra, Newcastle's Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko, and Tottenham shot-stopper Hugo Lloris.
