Sergio Aguero (full name is Sergio Leonel Aguero Del Castillo), nicknamed Kun by his grandparents after cartoon character “Kun Kun”, was born in June 2, 1988 in Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires. The 1.73 metres tall striker represents mega rich club Manchester City in England.

He scored five goals during the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign and is poised to make wonders in Brazil after inspiring Man City to the double – Capital One Cup and Barclays Premier League titles. Aguero’s eye for goal has seen him blossom in Europe after clinching gold medals at the FIFA U-20 World Cup (in 2005 and 2007) and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Sergio Aguero was in hot form in the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League, netting a goal every 70 minutes. Once again, he was stopped by injuries. If he can stay fit throughout the 2014 World Cup, chances are that Aguero will embarrass defenders!
