On Sunday evening (or afternoon, depending on where one resides) Milan took on Chievo at the San Siro.

The Rossoneri were keen to continue rebuilding after a victory over Fiorentina mid-week as they looked to get out of the bottom half of the table.

And whilst the odds were stacked in their favour--the Flying Donkeys have yet to defeat them at home, with the last time they earned a point was back in 2004 with a 2-2 draw--Clarence Seedorf's men certainly were not going to take anything for granted.

Clearly motivated by their win earlier this week, the Diavolo put on a good showing on front of their home fans, with Mario Balotelli and Kaka earning all three points for the struggling side.

Two of those goals were especially excellent--an early volley from Balotelli to start things off and a brilliant long-range strike from Kaka to seal the win.

Quality finish: Mario Balotelli's fantastic volley in the 4th minute

Kaka marked his 300th appearance for the Rossoneri with a great brace, notably this second goal

With just a handful of games remaining, is this a sign that Milan are finally starting to turn things around?
