Arsenal will travel to Wales to take on Cardiff City, in a match that will have some significant meaning for Aaron Ramsey. The Welsh captain spent all of his youth career at the club, as well as two seasons at the senior level before he was transferred to Arsenal in June of 2008.

He will now get a chance to showcase his talent, and the timing could not be better. Ramsey is off to a flying start, as he has already scored 11 goals in 20 appearances for Arsenal this season.

Ramsey has been a key contributor in Arsenal's success in the Champions League as well as the Premier League. Continuing that success on Saturday would help the North London side keep their distance at the top of the table.

Cardiff will welcome Arsenal to Cardiff City Stadium, coming off a last minute draw against Manchester United. The 91st minute goal from Kim Bo-Kyung helped the Welsh side earn one point, which now has them three points clear of the relegation zone.

Malky Mackay will be happy that heading into the match against Arsenal, he does not have any fresh injury concerns.

If Mackay's side is to earn points against the Gunners, they will have to get the best of Wojciech Szczesny, who has managed five cleansheets in Arsenal's last six matches. The Polish keeper has shown his maturity this season, which will be a relief for Arsenal fans, and Arsene Wenger.

Staying top of the league is a guarantee for Arsenal, as they have a four point lead. Keeping that four point lead would be a positive, with the Gunners hosting Hull City on Wednesday.

Saturday's match will be the first meeting between these two sides since 1962. That match ended in a 1-1 draw, with their latest meeting in the FA Cup ending in a 4-0 victory for Arsenal.
