Both teams recorded comfortable victories in international friendlies last week and will be looking to continue their good form when they meet each other in Toronto on November 19, 2013.

Brazil and Chile will face off on November 19, 2013 in a friendly match.Preview: Brazil face stiff Chile test in international friendly

Both Brazil and Chile have performed admirably in the recent past, having scored easy victories over Honduras and England respectively. Brazil scored an emphatic 5-0 victory over the Central Americans whereas Chile humbled the three lions 2-0 at Wembley.

Tuesday’s match will be an interesting encounter between two South American teams who have caught a few eyes. Brazil have been mesmerizing in 2013, having just lost twice under the tutelage of Luiz Felipe Scolari. The Samba giants have won all their last five matches in terrific fashion and Scolari has lauded his players for performing commendably as a unit.

“I didn’t expect the players to be as comfortable as they are right now,” he told reporters. “Today, I can say the team is complete.”

However the 65 year old was quick to warn his players of their opposition on Tuesday which might cause a lot of problem for the World cup hosts.

“2013 is met with a positive evaluation from this group. But we have to beat Chile, one of the best opponents to play against this season, for it to end even better.”

“We still have December, January, February before our next match."

“If we can close this one out with a win, we will have even more tranquility to think about these remaining months [before the WC].”

Scolari has every reason to be cautious, for their counterparts have done remarkably well in their recent outings. La Roja  are unbeaten in their last ten games and have their talismanic forward Alexis Sanchez to thank for who has rediscovered the form which made him one of the finest wingers during his time at Udinese.

His brace against England last week took his tally to ten goals for both club and country in as many games. Furthermore he has scored five goals in the last three games for Chile and will surely be fancying his chances when he locks horns with some of the finest defenders in the world.

The 24 year old has insisted that Chile are not to be underestimated and has encouraged his teammates to believe in themselves. The former Udinese man is also of the belief that Chile will have the advantage of playing in a South American country and will not have to adjust to changes like other countries.

"We have to believe that Chile have a chance. It is not a home tournament but we must take advantage of it being in South America," Sanchez said.

"We will not have to adjust to the conditions as much as other nations."

The match promises to be a spectacle and it will not be a surprise if it produces a lot of goals. The last eight fixtures between the two teams have produced at least three goals. Last time the two sides met was earlier in the year, when the match ended 2-2 with goals from Neymar, Rever, Marcos González and Vargas.
