Arsenal will travel to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland, who has to win a match in the current campaign.

Sunderland vs Arsenal will see Mesut Ozil make his debut in the English Premier League.Preview: The Gunners will be aiming for a fifth consecutive victory

It all started so poorly for Arsene Wenger's side, when they were defeated at home in their opening match against Aston Villa. The frustration of the fans was more than obvious, but the French manager was not convinced by that result.

As we now prepare ourselves for week four in the Premier League, the Gunners look rejuvenated, having won four matches in a row.

They bounced back in the league, having defeated Fulham away and Tottenham in the North London Derby. In their Champions League Playoff, they made quick work of Fenerbahce, who was outscored 5-0 over the two legs.

Now add the signing of Mesut Ozil to all of that, and you have yourself a confident bunch of players and fans.

Arsenal fans could barely believe Ozil had actually signed for the London side, but now that he has finally arrived, he could very well make his first appearance for the club on Saturday. Along with the German international, Arsene Wenger has also said that Thomas Vermaelen has already taken part in training, and could travel with the team for Saturday's match.

Two players that will not be taking part in the action will be Tomas Rosicky and Yaya Sanogo, with both players returning from international duty with injuries.

With a new team spirit, and their new signing, Arsenal will be looking to turn a poor start for the Black Cats into something even worst.

Paolo Di Canio was not happy with his players after their match against Crystal Palace, and he went as far as to say that the goals they had conceded were pathetic.

Having brought in Fabio Borini and Andrea Dossena on deadline day, the Italian manager will be expecting a much better performance from his players. Defeating the Gunners at the Stadium of Light has not come easy in recent years, so the hosts will need to be much better than they have been in their previous three matches.

One point from a possible nine has Di Canio and his players under pressure to get a positive result on Saturday.

The last time Sunderland defeated Arsenal at home in a league match was in November of 2009, when Darren Bent scored the only goal of the match. The English striker is no longer with the club, and since that victory, the Black Cats have lost twice and drew once against the Gunners.

Can Di Canio's squad finally turn things around against an Arsenal team that is full of confidence at the moment?
