All-Soccer Network Teams Up with Leading Latino Mobile Entertainment Company LatCel to Offer Fútbol Fans Non-Stop Mobile Access to International Soccer

GolTV, the nation's only bilingual channel delivering the most sought-after international soccer coverage, announced today the launch of GolTV Móvil, a new Spanish-language mobile service that will offer soccer fans on the go instant access to international soccer news, scores, video highlights and much more, all from the palm of their hand.  GolTV is teaming up with LatCel, a leading Latino mobile media company that provides content management and services to wireless carriers, brands and media companies, enabling and enhancing the Latino mobile Internet experience.

GolTV Móvil offers a video and text message alert subscription product, as well as a mobile portal, accessible virtually from any phone.  GolTV Móvil users will be able to follow the network's commentator blogs, check programming schedules and view match scores.  Short video highlights of GolTV's exclusive TV programming, including the latest news from Spain's La Liga and Germany's Bundesliga, among others will also populate the mobile portal.

"Soccer draws a consummate, avid and loyal fan base, and GolTV has proven itself to be the trusted go-to resource for passionate Hispanic soccer fans," said Jorge Rincón, CEO of LatCel, a company created through a joint venture between WAU Móvil and Venevision International. "With GolTV we become the leader in mobile soccer content for Hispanic audiences."

"With our new mobile capabilities, GolTV will be able to offer soccer fans everywhere the latest and most important soccer news, no matter where they are.  It's all part of our ongoing commitment to be the go-to destination for soccer fans," said Rodrigo Lombello, COO for GolTV. "As a leader in sports programming, launching a mobile service was the next natural step in expanding our brand and broadening our multiplatform reach to our audience, ensuring that soccer fans in the U.S. and Puerto Rico never miss a minute of action from their favorite teams, leagues and tournaments."

According to Pew Research, 50 percent of all Hispanics who speak English use a mobile device to access the Internet. Pew found that many of these users are bilingual and prefer doing business in Spanish; depending on the specific task or situation, and that 30 percent go online daily through their mobile phones.
