All moves are expected to take place during the offseason and will be sanctioned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, as his company will take over for all football operations.

Usually transfer rumors kick off as the offseason approaches, but with all the changes that will be taking place at Manchester United next summer, the rumor mill has started making its rounds now.

Following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's arrival to the team, there will be major moves taking place at Old Trafford. The team's new investor will splash the cash to hire new players, backroom staff, and if things go as planned, a new stadium. But before all of that happens, some footballers will have to leave the club to make way for the newcomers.

Recent reports by ESPN state that some of the first decisions made by Ratcliffe will have to do with the future of many players, with as many as eleven set to leave the club next summer. Out of those, the names of Harry Maguire, Raphäel Varane, Casemiro, and Christian Eriksen are the ones that stand out the most and also mean those who could bring a major benefit in terms of cash. Other footballers mentioned by the report include Scott McTominay, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Victor Lindelof.

Ratcliffe will be allowed to give all these players the boot after several conversations with coach Erik Ten Hag, but then again, the tactician's spot with the club is also uncertain. The same report by ESPN states that the Dutch manager will also leave the club if he fails to reach UEFA Champions League spots.

Ten Hag has also gone on the record to admit Ratcliffe's desires to lead the team to a top four finish will be crucial in his future at Manchester United.

Players such as Casemiro, Varane, and Eriksen have been linked with moves to European and Saudi Arabian clubs, but it remains to be seen if that interest in their services persists until next summer.

Manchester United will face Fulham this weekend, with a big chance for them to get closer to fourth place. Find out where you can watch the game with our broadcast and live-streaming details.
