MIAMI – GolTV, the exclusive 24/7 bilingual TV network and online community for real soccer fans, will broadcast live coverage of one the world’s most-watched soccer matches, Spain’s bi-annual El Clásico between La Liga’s Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona.
The match will be broadcast from Madrid’s legendary Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, December 10 at 4 p.m. EST with full pre- and post-game coverage from GolTV beginning at 3 p.m. EST.

The last time Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona faced off in La Liga they played to a 1-1 draw, with Lionel Messi scoring on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, and Cristiano Ronaldo equaling the match on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute.

El Clásico will be the fifth matchup between the two teams this year, featuring superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kaka, Iker Casillas, David Villa and Xavi Hernandez. Real Madrid CF currently has a three point lead over FC Barcelona in the La Liga standings.

Both teams have dominated Spain’s La Liga since the 1950s and play each other twice per season. Real Madrid and Barcelona have played 159 El Clásico matches since the season of 1928-29, and Real Madrid leads with 68 wins versus Barcelona’s 63.
