The Italian coach was tipped to join Real Madrid, but he was beaten to the job by Carlo Ancelotti.

The possibility of watching Antonio Conte back with a Premier League club is growing with each passing minute, as the coach is seemingly ready to take one more coaching gig in one of the top football leagues in the world.

Conte left Inter Milan after leading the nerazzurri to their first league title in eleven years, with the reasons behind his exit being the team's need to sell players and Conte's refusal to coach a different team than the one he had created. Hence, the Italian coach has decided to go back to the Premier League, and only details are left to see him as Tottenham Hotspur's new coach.

The club, who ended the season under Ryan Mason after sacking José Mourinho, need to come up with a plan to fight for the top 6 once again after missing out this year. With Conte at the helm the North London side may have what it takes to return to the top European competitions.

Conte won the Premier League title four years ago with Chelsea, and the club will certainly want to see him replicating that success with them. Moreover, Daniel Levy and Co. will be eager to see what Conte can do to keep Harry Kane around despite his already known desire to leave the club this summer.

Conte was in the running to become Real Madrid's boss as soon as he stepped down as Inter's coach, but now, he seems to be heading back to a league he used to dominate with the current UCL champions. The only things left to be sorted out are the terms of his deal and what kind of squad he can work with, but the idea of watching him back at the EPL is certainly tempting to keep an eye on.
