A lot has happened lately on the transfer market and updates will keep flowing until the summer transfer window closes…
Juan Mata is officially a Chelsea player. The Spaniard completed his switch on Wednesday and told the press in England following his arrival:

“Valencia was a big club but I have left to join a bigger club and it is all about the opportunity to win trophies and I have that here.”

Manchester City also got their star midfielder, Samir Nasri. The French international was delighted to land at Eastlands as he stated:

“Today is a big day for me, it's a new start and I'm looking forward to doing it.”

Meanwhile, FC Porto president Pinto da Costa has lately revealed that Chelsea are well after target Alvaro Pereira. According to RTP, Pinto declared:

“I confirm that Chelsea have made an offer which took 30 seconds to be responded to.”

In other news on the transfer front, Atletico Madrid’s Diego Forlan could end his adventure in the Spanish capital following Falcao Radamel’s arrival. The Uruguayan might move to Internazionale as agent Daniel Bolotnikoff explained in an interview with Italian media Tuttomercatoweb:

“There has been contact with Inter and there is an opportunity for Diego to wear the Nerazzurri jersey. We have to review everything on Thursday or Friday [at] the latest.”

Should a deal materialize between Inter and Atletico Madrid for Diego Forlan, the player will receive €3M per annum on a 2-year contract as Tuttomercatoweb reports. In Italy still, La Gazzetta dello Sport have speculated a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu for Argentina’s Fernando Gago.

In the meantime, Italian media Milannews.it quoted Kaka as saying in reply to rumors about a switch to Inter:

“My project is to stay in Madrid and win over the trust from our coach.”

Talking about Real Madrid, Spanish media Marca expects Raul Albiol to join Sergio Canales at Valencia for €10M.
