El Tri will try to round up their first European tour of the year with a win against the always combative Algerian side.

The FIFA International Break carries on with an interesting warmup game between the national teams of Mexico and Algeria. El Tri will put an end to their European tour with this match, while the African side will continue working for their upcoming competitions, such as the AFCON Qualifiers to be held in November.

Mexico struggled to get games during 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but they have surely made the most out of their matches so far. Gerardo Martino's men claimed wins against Guatemala and the Netherlands during the past few weeks, and on top of it all, both of them have come without conceding. With such a good run, Mexican journalists believe that Martino's defense will only go through minor adjustments for this game, while their attacking unit led by Raúl Jiménez and Jesús Corona remains the same.

As for Algeria, this will be their second game of the year, following their 1-0 win over Nigeria last week. It has been almost a year since the Algerians lost a game, and Djamel Belmadi's men will try to keep things rolling when they face the North American side.

Both teams will be forced to leave some of their finest men out for this game. For example, Mexico will have to make do without Hirving "Chucky" Lozano, who was not called up to play this game. The same goes for Islam Slimani, who will have to wait a bit more if he wants to become the team's all-time top scorer.

The game will be held at ADO Den Haag's Cars Jeans Stadion.
