Rio Ferdinand has spoken of his frustration at defeats and he also insisted that United must bounce back strongly after losing their last two games.
Manchester United stayed unbeaten in the league for 24 games until they lost at Wolverhampton in February. However, things seem a lot different for the Devils now. 3 of their last 5 games have ended in defeats- something Ferdinand isn't happy about.

Ferdinand missed both the away defeats to Chelsea and Liverpool with an injury. But the defender believes that United will need to prove that they have what it takes to make a strong comeback.

“I was really pleased with how we bounced back from the defeat to Wolves and won against Manchester City,” he told Inside United.

“As soon as we lost, winning the next game became the most important thing in our minds.

“It didn’t matter who the opponents were or how we picked up the points – we just knew we had to win.

“I’ve been at United for nine years and I can’t think of many occasions when we’ve lost two games back to back.”

And for those who have been wondering about the “when will Ferdinand retire” quiz, the answer was given by the Manchester United defender: "I hate [losing games]. It’s just the way I am. I’m the same when I’m messing about on a computer game.

"I always want to win and I’ve always been like that. When that feeling leaves me it’ll be time to hang up my boots.”
