Les Parisiens have taken advantage of the player's contractual situatiuon.

Manchester United will have to part ways with one of their fans' most beloved players by the end of the season, as negotiations to extend his contract have not ended properly.

According to a report by the Mirror, Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera will leave the club by the end of the season, since the team's hierarchy did not improve their bid to keep the footballer around. Added to that, an offer from PSG to lure the footballer away from Old Trafford has been met with delight by the player's inner circle, and he will make the trip to the French capital by the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

The midfielder, who has impressed the recently-appointed boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, allegedly wanted Manchester United to pay him a weekly wage of $260k, which the team's hierarchy dismissed. Their offer, according to this report, reached the $222k mark, but that figure included bonuses. Needless to say, the player ended all contract negotiations with the Red Devils.

Herrera has played a major role in Manchester United's resurgence under the Norwegian boss, playing 20 games for the Red Devils. He has also scored two goals and handed out three assists in EPL games.

The former Athletic Club footballer currently earns just over $170k a week at Manchester United, which is why he had demanded a wage increase. Unfortunately for the player, his demands will not be met by the club, forcing him to search for other employment opportunities.
