The in-form French midfielder has been linked with a return to the Old Lady this summer. but the bianconeri coach is unconvinced.

Paul Pogba has been linked almost all season with a move back to Juventus. His poor relationship with Jose Mourinho and constant injuries fueled the notion of the French ace trying to end his tenure at Old Trafford. Nevertheless, with a new sense of responsibility at Man United and a great streak of eight wins in a row, there seems to be little chances right now to see him leaving the English Premier League to make a shocking comeback to the Italian top flight.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Juventus' coach Massimiliano Allegri referred to the possibility of having Pogba back. The Italian boss' words left no doubt: it will be up to the player now.

"Honestly, I am not considering that option, because I don't think that Paul Pogba will have it easy to return to Juventus," Allegri said.

The boss compared Pogba's situation to that of some of his former team-mates, who left the club but made swift comebacks to their beloved bianconeri.

"Cáceres, Matri back in the day and Bonucci returned as quickly as they could. Could Pogba be next? Honestly I don't think so," Allegri added.

The bianconeri face a tough match against Lazio on Sunday, where they will try to defend their unbeaten status in the Italian top flight. In the next couple of days, the team's transfer activity should conclude, but rumors about Pogba will keep filling the air until the summer. Only time will tell if the Frenchman will go back to the Serie A.
