AC Milan defender Thiago Silva believes that his team have all the necessary ingredients to keep Inter Milan at bay for the rest of the season.
Inter Milan won a dramatic match against AS Roma which ended 5-3 after AC Milan struggled to a draw against Genoa last Sunday. The victory for Inter pushed them up to within 5 points of league leaders, AC Milan.

Inter’s president Massimo Moratti claimed that his side was 'inspired' after seeing Milan held to a draw by Genoa. However, Silva insists that AC Milan have got nothing to fear against Inter.

"We are not scared of Inter. They are a good team, but we don't fear anyone," Silva told the press as he flew out to Paris for Brazil's friendly against France.

"They are a great team and won everything last year, and they are showing good football."

Brazillian born Inter midfielder Thiago Motta was included in Italy's squad to face Germany and Thiago Silva feels that Italy's gain is Brazil's loss.

"Thiago Motta for Italy? It's a loss for Brazil and he is a great player with supreme quality. He can give plenty for Italy," he said.
